God created people in his own image and likeness, which gives everyone value and dignity. We value all people and support them and protect them from harm. We have a special responsibility for safeguarding the wellbeing of children and vulnerable adults.
If you volunteer for a role that brings you into contact with children, young people or vulnerable adults then you must first complete a volunteer application form, then undergo an enhanced level Disclosure and Barring Services check. This is a part of the Diocese's safeguarding process. Our Safeguarding Representative is Jackie Sullens, and she will help you with the relevant paperwork. Readers and ushers do not require these checks.
We rely on your support to continue our work — please give what you can afford
If you donate regularly, please consider setting up a standing order with your bank. Please contact the office for details.
You can supplement your donations in church if you are a United Kingdom taxpayer by making a Gift Aid declaration. Sarah Newton can send you envelopes for the collection.
