Safeguarding

God created people in his own image and likeness, which gives everyone value and dignity. We value all people and support them and protect them from harm. We have a special responsibility for safeguarding the wellbeing of children and vulnerable adults.

If you volunteer for a role that brings you into contact with children or vulnerable adults then you must undergo an enhanced level Disclosure and Barring Services check. Our Safeguarding Representative is Jackie Sullens, and she will help you with the relevant paperwork. Readers and ushers do not require these checks.
