The Altar Society are looking for a responsible person to manage the cleaning of the votive candle stands by the Sacred Heart statue. It needs to be done weekday mornings before 1pm. If there is someone who would love to do this task, please contact the Parish Office. Thank you.

Storms, droughts and floods are having a devastating impact on them right now, an example of which of course occurred during the Pope’s recent visit to the Philippines.
With your support, CAFOD works with local expert organisations to ensure that affected people are able to survive, rebuild and thrive. Please give what you can this Lent Fast Day. Envelopes for your donations are available at the back of the Church, and you can return them next weekend. And encouragingly the UK Government has promised to match every pound and penny you give this Lent up to the value of £3.5m. Thank you.
This Sunday Catechumens/Candidates for reception into the Church will be at Brentwood Cathedral for the Rite of Election. During the liturgy there is an opportunity for them to meet Bishop Alan personally. Please continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers on this significant occasion.
