Landings is an eight-week program that offers “a safe place to land,” a place for listening and for being heard, a place for asking questions and for reconnecting with the faith as an adult.
“A very warm welcome into a non-judgemental space. I had been a lapsed Catholic for almost 20 years, so I was initially quite nervous meeting the group, not knowing what to expect... I found the group warm and welcoming, the content was informative, well-structured and supportive... I was re-learning about my Catholic faith, things I hadn’t thought of before — or even been taught before! Returning to church felt easier as I had found a better understanding of the Mass and the sacraments... Knowing I had a supportive group behind me made returning easier and it’s been really nice recognising some friendly faces at Mass... I’m so happy to have taken the first step in calling the Landings Team and will now continue my path to be closer to God.”
During the eight-week Landings program, a small group of active Catholics, some of them “returnees” themselves, meets with a small group of inactive or returning Catholics to share and explore their faith together.
We were delighted to welcome our first Returnees back early in 2019. Now we are pleased to announce that we are resuming our Landings course. We look forward to welcoming you home.
