Dear friends in Christ
Every year Easter celebrates and makes present the life that awaits us with Christ in Heaven; but even now we share-in that divine life by our participation in the Mysteries through which we have been given new birth. We have all made the pilgrimage throughout Lent, and by our little efforts at prayer and self-denial, received the graces to be more committed to the Christian vocation. Throughout the Church new members are born into that life during the Easter Vigil. In our own Parish we welcome into the Church Jenny Anderson, Jon Appleton, Andrea Barrett, Ianto Bellis, Salliann Bellis, Christopher Bryant, Jonathan Bull, Lauren Gooch, Lee Hancock, Norman Hibbert, Susan Hibbert, Christopher Hind, Steven Joslin, Danielle Lawson, Gary North, Martin Roberts, Samuel Sheppard, Kane Smith, Charles Warren and Richard Weidner who have received the Sacraments for the first time. We offer them our prayerful good wishes as they begin their life in Christ. Pray that, they may be faithful to what they have promised, so that they may receive what is promised to them by Christ.
I remind you that starting on Tuesday of this week, the morning Mass will be at the earlier time of 9.00am.
May we all now continue throughout this Easter season renewed and enlivened by the light that the Risen Christ brings into our world!
