BIN A TIN FOR VIN
The St Vincent Centre is doing wonderful work in Southend helping the poorest amongst us.
You can help the food bank there by bringing a tin of something with you when you come to mass and putting it in VINNIE'S BIN, which will be in the OLD BAPTISTERY.
This will be emptied twice weekly.

The contactless device is now permanently situated at the back of the church and may be used for Offertory and Second Collection offerings, Repository payments, candles, SVP and other stipends.

The Summer is the one time of year when we can spend a little more time reflecting on the Truths of our Faith, or just having some quality time alone or with our families. It is really good to be as practical as possible about the way we live our Faith in these weeks…
I would like to suggest a couple of resources which may help us in this regard. Other sites which you might find useful would be: https://www.ewtn.com/ which has a TV and Radio network.
Also: https://radiomariaengland.uk/ which is a Catholic voice in the home, and: https://www.franciscanmedia.org/saint-of-the-day/calendar/ for reflections on the Saint of the day. Using these and many other Catholic resources that are out there, we can keep our Faith alive, be helped to live our Faith and be brought into a deeper more loving relationship with Our Lord.
