The Young Catholics of Leigh had their first meeting back after the summer break on Wednesday night in the Parish Centre at 7:30. They discussed why it is important to be Catholic in today’s society, the relationship between science and faith and the reasons we confess our sins to a priest with a presentation, a talk, a video and discussion. There was pizza, lots of friendly chat and questions, and everyone had a great time.

This will be a rare opportunity to experience an Ordination, a really special event in the life of the Church.

Wednesday 7 October at Brentwood Cathedral
Youth Mass with the diocese

Saturday 10 October 1:45-5pm at Westminster Cathedral

Rosary Crusade
We will process with Cardinal Nichols to Brompton Oratory for Benediction. Afterwards we will find somewhere to eat together.

Sunday 11 October
John Pridmore is coming to talk to us about his journey of faith from East End Gangster to travelling Evangelist!
