Sunday 27 September is the Feast Day of St Vincent de Paul

The parish community has been very generous financially and we also received donations from local Trust funds. This enabled us to visit families in need in the parish, support parishioners to go on pilgrimages to Lourdes and, at Christmas, to purchase gifts of clothing for the homeless centre and vouchers for residents of the young ex-offenders hostel in York Road. A generous legacy from a deceased parishioner will finance three schemes.
