Friday 7th February in the Church Hall of Sacred Heart Church, Southchurch Road, after Morning mass (9.45a.m. – 12.00 noon). The coffee morning is an opportunity to raise additional funds for the Day of prayer that takes place in March. This is a day when women all over the world unite in prayer for a one hour prayer service which is compiled by women from one country . The same service is used throughout the world. This year’s service has been prepared by the women of Egypt and is on the theme “Streams in the Desert”. Money raised at the services is used for charitable donations all over the world and the full detail of accounts is found in the service booklet. Please drop in and support this cause.
