We are very pleased and proud to announce that the Southend on Sea Borough Council Annual Design Awards 2015 has given first place to our new Parish Centre! The Panel of Assessors have visited all the schemes proposed for this Award and arrived at this decision last month. The Panel said: This was a fabulous scheme with good detailing which had created a seamless addition to the existing church. Both the building and the landscaping had a real feel of quality and were a positive addition to the street-scene.

This Award is due to the creativity of our Architect - Anthony Delarue Associates - as well as the Contractor - Haynes & Smith, but above all to all those who collaborated in any way with the realisation of the project. We should feel immensely gratified as a Parish Family that, as a result of our efforts, the Catholic Church has been made more visible in an attractive and practical way.
The Award will be made during a ceremony next month at Porters Civic House, in Southend-on-Sea. Monsignor Hale, the Architect and Contractors will attend the event to receive the Award.
