We pray for the sick of our parish

Father,
by the power of your Spirit
you have filled the hearts of your faithful people
with gifts of love for one another.
Hear the prayers we offer for our relatives and friends.
Give them health of mind and body
that they may do your will with perfect love.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
— Roman Missal: For relatives and friends

Thank you from Fr Selvini

I would like to express once again my heartfelt thanks to all those who made my Silver Jubilee Mass such a happy and memorable occasion last week – Mgr Kevin Hale, our Parish Priest, for his most inspiring words, Spencer and his cantors, Niall and Rory, Bernard and the team of altar servers, the readers Mary and Rosa, those who kindly sent me Mass cards and gifts, and last but not least Sue Lawford and her team of helpers who prepared the lavish refreshments after Mass. Thank you all so much for your many kindnesses and generosity! I will offer Mass for your intentions in the near future.

OLL Ladies Group

Our next Meeting is on Thursday 20th June at 10am in the Parish Centre. Subs are just £1 00 which includes refreshments and we also have a fun Raffle. New members are always welcome.

Next week we will be having one of our popular Quiz mornings, so if you want to beat the Champions, no prizes for guessing, have your thinking hats at the ready!

NB: please remember to put your name down for the end of Term lunch.

Flower & Craft Festival Saturday 6th July 2024

It is time to start preparations for this year’s Flower and Craft Festival! The Theme this year is ‘PRAYER.’

We would love to have as many people as possible to take part. Simply choose a prayer or prayers and think about how that can be illustrated visually with Flowers, Art work, Artefacts, Needlework etc.

The Festival day is always a very inspiring occasion with people from all faiths or none dropping into our beautiful Church. We have been overwhelmed by the positive response that there has been over the last few years to our themes.

If you would like to take part please email me at : mcronan@btinternet.com, or simply speak to me or Theresa.

If you are not sure about a suitable prayer then I have lots to choose from.
